Friday Five: Lady Weekend

I'm a single lady this weekend since SK is going out of town, so I've planned a relaxing ladies weekend for myself. It will include:

Sauv Blanc

Delicious melty brie

Take-out Sushi

Extra spin classes at my beloved Bikerbarre

Laying on my couch like this seal while watching Homeland and Nashville.
I don't know about you, but this seems like a glorious weekend to me.

What are your weekend plans?

What I'm Loving Wednesday, Or Why I am So Tired

I started watching Homeland on Friday.

In the last four days - days that I was visiting New York, I've already made it through 5 episodes. If SK let me, I would stay up every night until we finished watching the first season. However since I've been staying up two hours past when I normally do this week, I've been downright exhausted at work. Problem is, I get SO NERVOUS every episode that it takes me an extra half an hour just to calm myself down enough to go to sleep. I'm officially hooked.

Top 3 Reasons I love Homeland:

1. It takes place in DC, which makes me wonder if everyone I'm passing on the street works for the CIA.

2. It is REALLY REALLY SUSPENSEFUL. I'm also terrified that I'm going to overhear someone talking about the show and spoil it for me, which is why I am in my own Amazing Race to finish the season. In order to find the above picture for this entry, I googled 'Homeland', then covered my eyes, then peeked through my fingers to download the image.

3. Are you ready to have your mind blown?

Saul is Inigo.

Inigo is Saul.

What have you been watching lately? Are you a Homeland fan? Are you as on the edge of your seat as I am?

What I'm Loving Wednesday

1. My upcoming trip to New York this weekend -- I'm so excited to see my family, get some *real* bagels, and attend Rachel's wedding shower!

No trip home is complete without seeing these cuties....look at what my mom sent me earlier today! THEY'RE SPOONING!!!

2. Once Upon A Time. I never expected to like this show, but it's so fun to try and pick out which "real world" characters are the corresponding "fairy tale" characters. Plus it's a really exciting storyline and I always find myself cheering for the "good" characters.

3. Polyvore. Please see today's earlier post.

Happy weekend, everybody!
